Főtaxi is the airport's official taxi company. Taxi fares in Budapest are regulated: a city decree sets one tariff, the same at every licensed company and at every hour. It also applies to taxis ordered in the Uber and Bolt apps, so the rates do not differ between operators.
The meter decides the fare. These are the published rates; the estimate is worked out from them under the assumptions stated.
